You sound like someone who has no experience dealing with addiction. Most of the people you’re talking about don’t get pregnant and then decide to become an addict. They are addicts and they get pregnant.
Of course, I understand the personal responsibility angle, but treatment options for pregnant addicts are severely limited (much like all mental healthcare in our state and country). So, even if they want to get clean, it’s difficult to find help/appropriate resources.
Criminalizing this behavior dies not curb abuse, anymore than criminalizing drug use curbs abuse. All it does is discouraged these women from seeking appropriate prenatal care from the one person who may have resources to help them.

Honestly, someone should do research on this.
Why do women who live healthy lifestyles having so much trouble getting pregnant?
Maybe being too athleticly fit does something physiologically to the eggs or something. Like the body doesn't have enough fat to properly produce certain joones needed or something like that.
Or they are missing an intake of certain proteins or aminos through dietary means.

Not sure what’s funny. How could a woman using drugs while pregnant be worse than outright having the baby pulled apart limb by limb out of her womb with a pair of tongs? Please explain.

Science, dumbfrick. Maybe learn it? Fetuses are not babies. And 90% of abortions occur at 13 weeks or less. Nervous systems don’t develop until about week 21 or so. Hence why your statement is full of absurd hilarity.
