Which only matters if the driver wears their seatbelt. It has zero affect on anyone else.

What?

If you have passengers, it's best if they remain in their seats at all times, as well.

Dude there’s someone on the Austin covid sub (weird that it exists in the first place but whatever) who does “reports” on mask compliance. The guy goes to like 20 stores in a day to report if people are wearing masks and if anyone is there enforcing it.

The irony of course being that if he happens to have covid, he’s a fricking super spreader spreading it to thousands all over the city in one fricking day.

He’s the ultimate no life Karen.

Ok, what does this have to do with the driver?

In case you're not getting the point, wearing a seatbelt doesn't protect other people. It only protects you.

But we're not talking about back seat bullets. We're talking about the driver, per Korkstand's example.

Unrestrained passengers can incapacitate an otherwise restrained driver, which can make things worse. They also could be ejected from the vehicle into traffic and then imp[act other vehicles that otherwise wouldn't have been involved.

There's many many reasons that everyone being properly restrained is important. Somehow I'm not surprised you'd argue against it though.

Extremely low probability of asymptomatic people spreading it. CDC took a huge L on that one already.
I bet it's even lower if a mask is worn.

Yeah I don’t give a shot about Alabama sports so why would I post there. If there was an Alabama OT I would likely post there.

Also you supposed LSU fans need to read my screen name...just goes to show the sidewalk fans on this website.

To be fair you have a Bama logo. That’s one of the first things that stands out

Things flying around the interior can affect the driver.

Some lady was furious that the staff at NY Bagel wouldn't wear masks. I had to ask myself... If this lady is so worried about her health, why in the hell would she leave the house for a fricking bagel????
Maybe she's worried about other customers' health, and her community as a whole.

How would things flying around unvoluntarily in the interior affect the driver, if the driver wasn't already in a situation in which they were no longer in control?

I mean do passengers in the back of your car randomly start flying around the cabin if they're not wearing seatbelts when you're driving?

If people in the back of the vehicle are being ejected with enough force to affect the driver, the driver has already lost control of the situation.

So again, in your driver scenario, wearing or not wearing a seatbelt only affects the driver.

If masks work, why force the healthy to wear them for the sake of the at risk crowd? That makes no sense.

Because your heart is pure. You do not fear death or illness because you know there is nothing you can do to stop the will of God. And you know that if you are touched by illness or death, there is a better place you will go.

Those that are afraid of sickness and death and push this fear on us range from the demonic to those that have not embraced Christ.

Is this a serious question?
quote:

If people in the back of the vehicle are being ejected with enough force to affect the driver, the driver has already lost control of the situation.
So by your logic, if a situation is already kind of bad we might as well make it as bad as possible because frick it? If control is momentarily lost, let's make sure it's lost for good and never regained?

So obviously wrong. Just stop.

Just when I thought this thread couldn't get any dumber.

God mutated this virus so that it infects people because he wants them to die, who am I to question that? frick a mask, I'm going to do god's work and infect people on purpose.

You know what frick a doctor too. Where do they get off saving lives like that?

Why did you only quote half of my question? Here, I'll provide the full quote:

quote:

How would things flying around unvoluntarily in the interior affect the driver, if the driver wasn't already in a situation in which they were no longer in control?

Go back and read it again and pay attention to the part in bold.

If you've lost control of a vehicle to such a degree that your passengers are flying around inside your vehicle with enough force to affect your ability to drive, you're not gaining control again.

As long as we're just making things up and stating them as certainties, what are the powerball numbers for tomorrow?
