It’s concerning that anybody over the age of 12 gets emotionally invested in wrestling

While we have an entire board where grown men get emotionally invested where 17 year olds announce their college destinations

Men who watch “professional wrasslin” also spend a lot of their time playing video games.

Not this guy.

I only play video games if I'm at an arcade.

Meanwhile, it keeps evolving.

But is it really? My grandfather mailed me G.L.O.W. VHS tapes in Japan in the 80s when I was young, and I didn't get why. Now I do. Sex appeal will sell, forever. Men want to pretend they're the dudes (MMA included) and the women know how to hook the male audience to their characters.

Shock. Horror. Boobs. It's never going away. Wrasslin seems to have learned from the booms and the busts of the 80s/90s on how to manage talent better. You figure out a way to survive.

Professional wrestling is now national politics and governance. No need to follow pro wrestling when the Federal Government is now the big leagues of pro wrestling. Faces, heels, scripted matches, screaming matches, temper tantrums, you name a characteristic of pro wrestling post smokey high school gymnasium period and it is now the business model of national politics and governance. Fan of it or not our nation is now nothing more than Georgia Championship Wrestling on steroids. The only thing missing is the dilapidated civic center atmosphere.....
