Saderade is spot on, have had similar experience with a lady in the community. Prayed to live long enough to see sons grad HS and is still going, 25 yrs later. Has suffered setbacks recently and bedridden last 10 but still with it

Push to get on Avastin. Have a close family friend who had a 1 year life expectancy with traditional surgery and radiation. He is now 2 years out on Avastin and still working and driving. Amazing.

If you are comfortable posting this, what are the larger cities that you and your family have reasonable access to?

He treated a guy I know with glioblastoma multiform or whatever. Made the dude's big arse tumor go away. It came back in the end, but the shite was undetectable at the time. These people know what they're doing in Ann Arbor.

I second the response talking about Avastin. Check out Bald Bryan on Adam Carolla podcast. Had same diagnosis 5 years ago and still going strong. Just wrote a book that is coming out soon.

No, Bald Brian has a brainstem glioma.
GBM is considerably more aggressive.
But the point about Avastin is well taken.

I know things will get tougher for you in the future. It'll seem like you're involved with serious conversations and thoughts 24/7. If you ever need a break to talk straight with someone without all the baggage, let me know. Hit me up at my TD username at gmail dot com and I'll talk weather and crack jokes with you for a bit. Serious.
