And did Joe Burrow, the subject of this thread, support any of those things?

The guy has hung out with trump and spoken with him multiple times.

I’m not saying this is the case with the poster we responded to, but there’s a ton of people on this board that read some post and run with it like it’s fact.

"I'm pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later."

And yet he supports a party and position that wants zero restrictions on abortion which results in murdering babies.

It actually makes me dislike him as it’s so arrogant and condescending to think that he spin something over people’s heads while still supporting the very thing he says he doesn’t. He is full of shite.

Well, one party is black, one is white. The party voted for would have my wife die from complications of birth before letting her have an abortion. That’s pretty fricked up too. There’s no in-between you can vote for.

And I ask again, do we KNOW which party he supports? I know he’s not MAGA, but I don’t think he’s lib either. He’s just a guy who makes a shitload of money throwing a football.

Yes by his vote, his politics, his ignorant blm takes, his support of abortion, and others.

Also, his current support of gay agenda with his fashion choices…

But regardless the comment stands and was a reply to someone thinking we owe players just because they played for LSU or more specific to what you quoted about academic side went to LSU. Carville and Duke went to LSU, and they are a pieces of shite and owed nothing. Same for another known racist and former LSU player - Ryan Clark. On flip side a so far seeming good guy in JD is also owed nothing. Olivia is owed nothing.

Comparing Burrow to Duke, Carville, and Clark is disingenuous.

Did he make his vote public somewhere?

Dude… Rich people wear dumb shite, news at 6.

The libs have been non-inclusive for a long time. They are NOT tolerant. It would be hypocritical of me to act the same way and think someone is a POS because he may have voted for a candidate I don’t like.

In this thread. Posters shite on tGOAT player in LSU history because he doesn't alight with their politics.

people are soft af these days. they can't handle someone disagreeing with them.

the founding fathers wouldve laughed in their faces the way they fold at the first sign of adversity.

"someone doesn't align with my politics, hurry up and let's cancel them"

It's fricking hilarious to watch. thin-skinned pussies.

BS. There are some that draw no distinctions, but most views have the life of the mother is an exception. Similar for rape. It’s just they don’t view having to grow up fast and be responsible for your actions as a life threatening situation.

Trump voted against the pro-life law in Florida (can’t remember the details on it). With court picks trump also helped rightfully push issue back to the states to decide about your wife scenario not the feds who just won the national election. They had proabortion speakers at Republican convention. What do Dems do with Pro-life dems (or the 1 or 2 that exist)? It’s seems republicans are more flexible in what’s allowed and inclusive than dems. Party first Dems know they have to push party line.

I’m all for shitting on libs and far left. But Burrow is actually an example of how people SHOULD act. His good friend is MAGA. He’s happy about meeting Trump. We need people who aren’t looking for a divide 24-7.

He’s not the guy unfriending you on Facebook because you voted for someone else.

Where is canceled mentioned in this thread? Not caring or saying Joe voted for this is not saying cancel him.

Then the argument becomes who should decide the fate of a rape baby: the feds or the state? You’re trading one crap entity for the other. And our state seems to not budge on this issue, at least for the time being. There was a death a few weeks ago that was the third one attributed to the Texas abortion ban. It’s sad.

Again…it’s a contentious subject and people are going to disagree. I’m not interested in shitting on someone because he’s okay with ending a rape pregnancy.

Trading it for what constitution was set up for. States can adjust as they support quickly without going thru multi year court process with every change.

Do you have a link for recent death? Most of these end up not being exactly as reported with many self inflicted or doctor inflicted issues that actual cause the death, but then pro-life is used as the scapegoat by Dems. I haven’t heard of the recent death, but anything before was politically blown out of proportion.

One of the deceased is named Porsha Ngumezi. Doctors should have acted, but didn’t because of fears about the law.

Josseli Barnica is the other prominent case I’ve seen discussed.

That’s was on the doctors/hospital. Standard D&C procedure is allowed following a miscarry like in this case.

Josseli Barnica was back in 2021 while Roe was still in effect, and the Texas law was civil in nature.

Touché.

But getting back to the point. If someone says those are the lives he’s standing up for, then I’ll take that person’s word at face value unless they’ve proven to be a liar. If that’s how Burrow feels, I can agree with him on that topic.
