I always figured he was exaggerating his party days in college to try to sound cool.
I kind of thought the same thing.
He's one of my favorite comedians. Hope he gets the help he needs though.

Is there any super successful comedian that isn’t an addict? Seems to be a prerequisite for being funny

quote:Ditto. Saw him at The Wilbur in Boston, and he was fantastic. He’s a great comedian.
Saw him live when he was touring Kid Gorgeous and he was somehow better in person than on screen.

Can't believe that no one has mentioned Mulaney wrote Bill Hader's 'Stefon' material on Weekend Update. He would always change some of the words on the teleprompter between rehearsal and air so that Bill would be seeing the jokes for the first time while he was reading them live, hence his frequent crack-ups.

Never heard of him...but good luck!

You know, the great composer Leonard Bernstein once said that sometimes he would be gay. And it was when he was suppressing the gayness that he did some of his best work.
Sounds exactly like Aaron Rodgers

The Coke think I guess isn’t surprising when you think about what it takes to make it in New York and for SNL but that’s more of a surprise to me than the alcoholism.
alcoholics love coke b/c it allows them to drink more

I thought his friendship with Pete Davidson was a mentoring thing. I guess I was almost right?

Well if you have ever laughed at Bill Hader's skits on SNL or watched Barry and laughed, that's John Mulaney's work.

Why do people think never hearing of someone is some badge of honor?

Top pic? She will crush him.
Bottom pic there are no words for this period in Kates life? Unless she likes to slum it and get loaded with addicts.
