Stop saying this. I know you guys are ill advised and don't know the whole story, but dang--that is the very definition of ignorance. If he approached me or threatened me at all, I would have much more of a reason than I already do to kick HIS arse than he kicking mine. Y'all just have to trust me on this one. The fact that you even think that I am the one who attempted to ruin the husbands life or anyone's life in that matter in beyond me.

I feel that if you knew her & were close to her, then it may be appropriate to inform her. But if some random person came and told me my SO was cheating, I'd be skeptical & not believe you. Then the other SO would probably be hunting you down.

She then convinced OP that he should be the one to tell the wife of the cheater. OP, thinking this is his big chance to get out of the friend zone, does just that. Surprisingly, the victim-wife is not raining praise on the stranger (OP) who interjected himself into her personal life.
The likely outcome is that victim-wife will leave the cheating husband. Hottie will resume banging cheating husband. And OP will be removed from the friend-zone, but not in the way he had hoped.

At this point, it does not matter what you or I believe. What he believes is the important thing.
