Man it would be tough grieving this loss if u were his wife and kids. Non stop coverage and footage of him for next month. I feel so bad for them. Kobe was an icon. Tough loss for the world but even harder for them.

A man and his 13 year old daughter just died and yet you have th audacity to bitch about a sticky thread? You know why people like Kobe get more coverage then some dude in the oil field? Because what he did inspired an entire generation of athletes and made millions of people pretty damn happy. I get not liking Americans love affair with celebrities but this isn't the time or place

Because this is bigger news than blue collar Joe dying in a plane crash.

Not to Joes family, and that's all that matters.

Celeb worship is ridiculous. My wishes to the family left behind, they're who really matter here. Losing a 13 year old child s more tragic than Kobe

This has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever read on this board. Why would anyone automatically think about money.
Money isn't the end all for what life is about. All those hundreds of millions Kobe made are meaningless to him because he's gone.

Welcome to the OT. The board is filled with fricking morons.

Yep.

Roger was a minor character but had one of the better lines in the movie.

Dont understand the knee jerk for Cuban to retire his number. I get the respect, but seems a bit too much. Especially before the Lakers made any move.

Yep...and she wasn't the only child killed.

Another child around her age was said to be onboard.

Officials have not released the names of those killed in the crash, although it is believed that a college baseball coach, along with his wife and daughter, were among the victims. It has been reported that the child was also enrolled at Mamba Sports Academy, Gianna was a student at the academy.
