According to the Iranian government.
no, according to the Pew Research Center... back in 2010
World Value Survey in 2022 said 96.6% identify as Muslim... still higher than that 90-95 number thrown out with no statistical basis whatsoever

I think this data takes into account Iranian refugees in other countries
keep moving them goalposts... :rotflmao: you'll eventually get to whatever number it is YOU believe they are...
quote:
However, you can't really take any of those numbers as true because of the fact that it was illegal to not be Muslim under the Islamic Government.
Zoroastrians, Jews, and Christians are officially recognized and protected by the government... but do go on about the "illegality" of being anything other than Muslim.... :rotflmao:

What is the deal with all of you anti-Israel people?
when did i ever say i was "anti-Israel"?
or are you one of those that only sees things as binary choice and can't deal with nuance?

Do y'all honestly believe that Israel can dictate to the United States what we are going to do or be allowed to do?
That's not how it works. We dictate what they are allowed to do. They inform us about their plans and we either let them get on with it or tell them "No."
Supporting Israel=/= being controlled by Israel.
go tell all of this to Marco... he said the quiet part out loud today...

This operation may have been thought up by Israel, but it was planned out in cooperation between the United States and Israel over months.
look man, i understand right now has to be a pretty weird spot for diehard Trump supporters, like you clearly are... i get it... this guy you've sworn your allegiance to is totally not doing what he said he'd do, and you are in this perpetual state of having to reframe your positions on things, b/c they change by the day...

I predict that we'll see ISLAM go from 90-95% of the population to around 75-80%.
well, 1st off, Islam is at 99%, not "90-95"... 2nd, i think you are dead wrong, but we can agree to disagree

But none of them have condemned the attacks, which is a groundbreaking development because they always have in past Israel actions.
b/c they know it's not just Israel popping off... Israel has drug the US squarely in the middle of this, willingly or not.... and NONE of them dare frick with the US... they ain't as stupid as Iran

think if given the chance to leave Islam and convert to another religion, then a huge chunk of the population is going to do just that.
no... just... no
Islam will still be, by and large, the religion of an overwhelming majority of the nation....
much like Christianity in America, it's way too ingrained to where it's part of the fabric of the country.... the new version will much less oppressive, as it was ruled by those who perverted the religion to extreme versions that they weaponized for power, but make no mistake... there will not be, as you are thinking, "huge chunks" of the population converting to Christianity...

You would think this organization would have the brains and put Fears or Queen on the national airways to campaign for the ROY award
no, i would not think that.... its CRYSTAL clear that it's become a 2 horse race between Kon and Cooper... Queen had some buzz early on, but that's all but gone now... Fears never really had any chance
that being said, i think they will end up being very good players for us, but ROY, they are not...

And while it is true that a majority of Christian scholars agree with the primacy of Mark, you are starting to see a shift back to Matthew because of the lack of evidence for Q.

It was a hypothesis postulated by a German historian in the 19th century to explain the synoptic problem
what's your better theory of the synoptic problem?
quote:there are plenty of documents lost to time, my friend... and why would the Christians had plenty of reason to either not include any Q source document (if it existed), or, like they did with many of the Gnostic gospels, just straight up cut them from their texts at either the Council of Nicea, or any of the other plethora of councils they held in antiquity...
However, no such document has ever been found nor was any such document ever alluded to by early Christians in their writings

seems like my daughter wants to be a pharmacist, which i used to be opposed to, but i guess we'll be able to leave the pharmacies to her, so i guess it'll all work out in the end....

If Matthew said it happened, it happened.
big Augustinian hypothesis proponent, are we?
modern Christian scholars pretty much all agree with the Marcan priority, making Mark, the 1st book written, thus more true to life than Matthew and Luke, who both drew upon the Q source
sounds like they are rather tame, so not sure how exciting that would be to see them
