The empty area to the right would have been perfect for adding on because it’s been empty for years. Now that whole area is wiped out on the bottom floor. I think their is a military recruiting office and an accounting firm upstairs IIRC. Bold move by the people leasing in this economy. Let’s see how it pays off for them. Half the time the people making these decisions are in some
Desk in Texas or California.

Correct. Some of the regulations I've heard with tenants at Perkins Rowe is astounding...what could be a center for the city is left idle.

The Kona Grill location is still empty. It's a really cool location overlooking the courtyard and all. Their food just wasn't that great.

It’s a great location and the food wasn’t terrible by any stretch. I always assumed that the rent must be astronomical for that location and that is why they closed. Didn’t that taco/margarita joint across the courtyard close down too? I can’t remember the name.

Yep I can't remember the name either. I think they moved downtown for awhile but that closed too.

Bin77 seems to do pretty well back there.

Build one in Gonzales and I’d happily switch from PF. They just replaced 70% of their gear and are even more focused on ridding themselves of anyone who lifts to build strength.

What south BR needs is for Ochsner to build a facility comparable to their Elmwood location.

Francois moved from where the Albasha was on Bluebonnet to Perkins Rowe next to the California Pizza Kitchen.

Francoise’s food is mediocre at best from what I read about the place.

I've never tried it but I've heard the same thing. Most of the time when I go to Perkins Rowe it's to drop off my teenaged daughter and her friends at the movies. Crime can happen anywhere obviously but the crowd at PR usually looks a lot cleaner than the mall these days.

Perkins Rowe has an agreement that there can only be one ethnicity/type restaurant of each.

I don't know what kind of agreement they cut with Francois seeing that Rouje Creole was already established.

From what I was told, Francois’ was always good when it was originally in Zachary but Francois is a major league a-hole.
