There are some things where moderation doesn't help you out a whole lot. And I think porn is one of those things, but since the effects aren't extremely obvious, nobody wants to acknowledge them.

Well said, it's not like being addicted to a crack pipe, where there is nowhere to hide after so long. You could actively be addicted to porn for 50 years without anyone ever knowing. Besides the adverse effects the OP is talking about.
