I read something one time that the most grounding thing you can do is look up, but that most people only ever look down.
Think about a deer walking through the woods. Doesn't see the guy in the treestand, because it only ever looks down focused on the path it's on.
Have to look up and around every now and then.

re: Build my European trip

This depends on a lot of things. Mainly how you like to travel, budget, etc.
10 days ends up not being that much time, but when I finished college we never spent more than 2 nights somewhere. We hit most of the EU in 65 days. I would never travel like that in this stage of life.
What time of year?
If summer, I'd fly into Paris, do 1-2 days, speed train to hit south of france for 3 nights. Then get to Spain.
I love Spain. It's like the underrated Italy. You could do just 10 days in Spain (or any EU country for that matter). Madrid - Valencia - Cordoba - Seville - Malaga would be sweet.

quote:You could say the same about one Lane Kiffin.
He is a fake tough guy who beats up bad teams and always loses when it matters most.

All hope on Miami.
Do Costa Rica. Wife and I went for 5 days 2 years ago. We had a great time, but the whole time we were there, we kept saying we wish we had our kids with us (9 and 7). There is so much to do there outdoors, it would be easy to keep a kid entertained. Plus it's beautiful and safe. I loved Costa Rica.
re: Do you respect or care at all what the “officiating analyst” on these broadcasts says?

No. The networks put them on there to help the public understand what the refs were doing and all they do is contradict themselves at every turn. Targeting, launching, and defenseless player is the most obscure penalty in sports. 100% judgement. 0 consistency. And the result is a guy getting ejected. It needs to be like a Flagrant Foul in basketball. Has to be levels to it.

Miami opened the door at every turn and was still able to win. Credit to Ole Miss for being in that game. Miami was the better team but OM was one stop away from winning despite that. It was a great game. If you're complaining about a PI on the last play of the game, then I don't know what to tell you.
Chambliss is a baller and a great story. He's the good that comes from the portal. Think about a kid like that never have gotten his chance and going back home to tell people if I just would have had my opportunity.
Or you get so many touch flags called on you that you don't underdefend with the game on the line!
re: This is a slap in the face to Lane

We'll be lucky if Lane can get us back into the kind of games Ole Miss just played in the last 3 weeks.

Hang the banner. CFP Semi-Finalist.
Haha, I can relate. I don't know if it's deep seeded hate of Ole Miss I never knew I had because they were irrelevant or if it's cause I'm ready for this Ole Miss, Lane, Weiss, LSU drama to be over. What an amazing game though.
Well… money you know.

Bill Lemonier is a moron. Just agrees with the call regardless of how much he contradicts himself.

Miami D will keep them in any game they play. They are like a better version of many Les Miles teams who played the same way. Problem is, they obviously don't have the killshot ability on offense.

Lawson may be the dumbest situation OC alive keeping them in it. Feels like Miami should be up 20.
Miami’s OC is a moron with the trick play calling.
Why get cute after dominating up the middle. Coaches can be so funny.
