Do you have any human compassion

Nothing wrong with caring or not caring though

I'm not sad over it, but why care if others are?

I don't have to know someone to have compassion, sympathy, or be upset over a tragedy.

Sure, I have compassion. But today, nothing in my life nor the lives of those posting here was affected in any way by the passing of a random person with whom they have no connection.

Posting about random celebrity death #394 and how today is such a terrible day is cool, just like Seattle or the Bay Area or Nashville is cool.

Family, friends, girls, everybody says I'm cool. A lot cooler than some Internet guy like you, I'll bet nobody thinks you're cool cause you're a loser.

Posting about how much you don't care is pretty damned cool also.

So many people don't get that, depression can seriously ruin a person's life and money won't help that.

Chester was sexually abused when he was a kid and had a lot problems with alcohol and drugs. Listening to Heavy and One More Light now, it sounds like a cry for help and people shite all over him for the songs.

Also the outburts from him also make sense as he was probably on the edge of it.

I always really liked Linkin Park. This sucks regardless of who it is.

Of all that nu-metal shite that was popular way back in the day, linkin park was my favorite and the only band I'd still listen to today.

So we can all agree that if you're gonna hang yourself you're basically telling the world "was I jerking it when I died? You'll never know....."

Quite the legacy to leave.

I honestly feel like the harsh criticism over One More Light only pushed him further and Chris dying pushed him over the edge. Depression is fricker

How can someone commit suicide with this...
quote:

Chester was married with 6 children
... very selfish. I understand he may have been battling addiction and/or depression (often, one creates/strengthens the other) but he should have sought help.

Things should change when you have kids. It should be more about them.

I wish any anyone battling depression and/or addiction would fight through it. Just set your pride aside and seek help. Talk to a close friend, seek professional help, whatever you have to do. Eventually, things will get better.

RIP CB

Prayers to his family and friends, especially his 6 kids. I really hate this for them.
