TW, You may very well be right. And I don't think it's going to be a bad loss, that's how far gone they already are. I'm not even sure of the structure of the different levels of football we have now. There is the FBS, the FCS, I think division III.
I guess one of the things in App States favor is there's probably 80 to 120 or more teams that are roughly in the same situation. Be it stadium size, student enrollment, dollars being donated, attendance to games, endowment, Rich alums. I guess at some point you have to think why are we in this league when we have zero chance of ever winning the championship. We barely have any kind of chance of getting to the tournament..

stranger things
I started watching the first episode of the first season a long while back and turned it off after about 15 minutes
guess that's why it's called stranger things

Small school ball is refreshing, tbh. I think there will be a big market for it.
Power 4 is already starting to turn me off. I doubt I’m the only one.

But it's not the player's fault.

I assume most of those guys are “taking” virtual classes.

Absolutely. There was hardly anything more exciting than when Boise State first started rising to prominence and they had Peterson as their coach and a lot of motion. Lot of exciting plays. When App State had their good run in in 067 and 8, it was just a great time to go to games and we were slightly ahead of the curve as far as offense goes and our quarterback was talented. It was a blast.

Yep, and I'm sure you aren't. I'm not sure what input guys like us can have until we start voting with attendance or lack thereof and donations or lack thereof.
@JoePep.
Exactly. It almost seems quaint now to think about what some of the controversies were in the past. Cheating on grade scores. Cheating on SAT scores to get a player.
It's crazy that the people that are supposed to be in charge are the ones making all the stupid decisions and the 18 to 22-year-olds are making decisions that are good for them but don't seem wise to us. At least for the long run.
