If you're talking pre-puberty, sure. Girls "grow up" sooner than boys and can hang in middle school a lot of times.
In high school the only way I could see it happening is if your school sucks at sports and completely unathletic guys make teams.
I guess we could clarify and say "the worst contributing member of an even slightly competitive boys team will be better than the best girl 10/10 times".
To be honest, just noticed the word "team" in his reply. My mind went to high school gym class. This kid Greg was the absolute worst participant of any game, sport, activity we play in gym. His head was a dodgeball magnet. He was without question the worst athlete in school, girl or guy.
