I hope you're right. But teen girls are notorious for being both gullible and driven by their emotions and raging hormones. And like I said before, if a teen aged girl gets a boy that she is certain "loves" her, oftentimes they'll do things that you'd never imagine them doing in order to keep and/or please him.

For some reason I initially interpreted this as some form of intricate punishment on the part of the father...like he was seeing if she would be willing to send the photos and engage in inappropriate behavior. If she did, then he would discipline the shite out of her and scare her straight about the dangers of online communication with strangers.
I figured this was just an elaborate ruse to verify whether or not his daughter was behaving like a whore.
But based on everyone's responses, apparently his motives were much more sinister.

My 2 teenage nieces are prime examples of how to raise a lady.. My wife was raised the same way, we are raising our daughters that way as well. Also helps that my nieces help instill in them what my wife and I teach them..

i taught my kid the alphabet, he came home the next day and still didn't know the fricking difference between the n and u. i punched him in the face because i had taught it to him already.

good parenting doesn't make your child immune to bad decisions. never does. the mere thought that you are making some assumptions based on your over exaggerating of your parenting skills makes me question your awareness of problems today's youth are having.

Over exaggerating? lulz. Been at it for nearly 2 decades..I know what works and what doesn't. Also fully aware of what the youth are up to.. It's no big secret, which leads me to believe your kids are young and you've got a long way to go..
But like I've said no one is perfect and shite happens. Though, I think if parents would take more time early on a pull their children away from the phone,xbox,tablet..etc.. and get them into the world it may help.. Then again it may not..after all there's a lot of fricked up people in this world..

nah, i got every skin on the wall. i know whats up. you blamed the parenting and basically said this couldn't happen to your kids cause of how you raise and teach them. While you may have good kids, it still comes across in poor taste.

Don't give a shite how it comes across. That's the problem nowadays people are way to concerned with coddling and not willing to call it like it is.
But on serious note.. I've always felt that if your open, honest and straightforward with them and it make a world of difference. Tearing back the slimy underbelly of society and how shitty people operate revealing to them and how poor decisions can haunt you for a long time will go a long way. Just my 2 cents.

I am sure she isn't and wouldn't fall for some stranger but you have to remember it wouldn't be some random person trying to seduce her, it would be the person who knows more about her than anyone in the world. You already would know all of her fears, desires, dreams, her life history, likes and dislikes etc and you could literally make yourself the person she has always dreamed of.
