Things are pretty normal as far as Ops...I've talked to locals and apparently this type of threatening behavior has been going on for decades. Oh and geaux tigers

In the persons defensed who said he has been on base/post several times during active shooter situation, he is correct. In the military world it happens more often that civilians realize and especially on Army post. I've served 16 years so far and am up to 8 not including time as an Army brat.
The shooting occurred on Medina-annex/Lackland AFB, TX. This is the side where we train our TACP, SERE, CCT and PJ trainees. I lived on that side and worked for several years up to one year ago. It is a heavily wooded area and we train live fire everyday.
