Don't forget social media nutritionists and fitness experts!

I thank God daily I wasn’t stupid enough to get a vaccine.
I will pray you vaccine bros don’t have arms growing out of your arse in a few years.

You do realize that what OP is talking about applies to vaccines outside of COVID vaccines that have been in use and well-researched, right?
Thanks for proving his point.

COVID fricked us so much worse than the millions it killed.
The level of distrust of the medical industry and science is out of control.
The CDC and WHO have only themselves to blame for this with their overreach and confusing instructions during the pandemic.
However, the quacks have used this as an opportunity to promote and indoctrinate people with absolutely batshit ideas.
I can't tell you how many people suggest homeopathic "remedies" to me now when me or one of my kids is sick. Homepathy is complete horseshite. The ingredients are so diluted they do absolutely nothing.
And FB is rife with moms who think their non-verbal autistic kids have mold poisoning or some other boogeyman rather than just accepting their kids have a debilitating mental impairment.
This morning I saw a post about flu going around the schools and the number one liked post was someone telling a mom to not give their kid motril but rub a fricking potato on their foot and put garlic in their socks.
We are so fricked. Whether you believe big pharma and Fauci/Gates, etc., are evil, the alternative quacks are no better.
AI is only going to make it harder to find the truth. The Russian propaganda plan is very effective. Throw so much shite at the wall that no one knows what to believe and just throws their hands up and gives up.
TLDR Health authorities and politicians fricked up the pandemic health response so badly; complete nutjobs have taken over as the authoritative voice in medicine.
Everyone needs to stop going to the doctor so much.
Ads targeting sicknesses need to stop. People that sit around at home see all this shite then think they have it.
Ultimately, its morons that are the problem. Ultimately.

There has to be some blame, put on the doctors in the hospitalists. They are the ones that carried water for the governmental agencies. I understand they were under the gun for their jobs, but damn, the doctors didn’t even stand up for themselves in a private clinic setting with their patients.
To me, even COVID aside, in an era of open media and information (and "disinformation") - med/science communities have to be more forthcoming and not shield motives/info from the public.
I use the Hep B vaccine example all the time - your pediatrician will be entirely unable to give you a very good explanation for why your middle class safe community child needs it. Literally, it'll be something like "well they might come across a needle in a public park."
It won't be "listen the chances are remote but so are the risks, but we promote a) because the consequences are serious and in the aggregate we need fewer carriers, and b) we don't want to engage in politically incorrect typecasting of our patients."

My GP is worthless. In fact most have been in my opinion.
Its a racket to have to run up a 300-500$ doctor bill just to be able to buy an antibiotic.

When Johns Hopkins medical told everyone in the height of Covid that BLM protesting out in the streets was ok to do, they lost a lot of credibility with me, to say the least.

Well they only have themselves to blame for that when they lied to us for fricking years that we were racists for thinking that a virus leaked out of a lab instead of believing that Chinese people love eating bats.

It's wild. And a perfect storm.
Our institutions and expert class have lied to us (sometimes for altruistic/explainable reasons, often not) at a time when people (women in particular) are increasingly neurotic and the influencer class has risen to a peak.
The result is a ton of previously normal people being unable to trust experts on significant things, all while fretting about remote possibilities and while an endless contingent of mostly greed-motivated and often unaccomplished personalities sell them on various dangers/solutions/etc.
This is the correct answer.
And it's not just in the realm of science, either.
It's the perfect environment for the populist explosion that now dominates both parties.
"The FBI lied about Hunter's laptop (which they did) and the media backed them up (also, which they did)! That means that no one tells the truth about ANYTHING, so I believe that the Deep State manipulated the weather to suppress voter turnout in the Iowa Caucus to try to hurt Trump (yes, there were actual posters on the poli board posting that).
Every poster on that board would have called RFKjr. a nutjob pre-COVID just on his stance on vaccinations alone. Now he's a hero to them.

I have some questions about them now like for instance why the frick should I give my baby a Hep B vaccine unless I was actively planning for him to become a gay prostitute or a heroin junkie?

I don’t know, if they’re your kid you should probably just assume they’ll be some kind of messed up. Better to be safe in this instance

It’s gotten really bad on YT. Seems like every ad I get is for some sort of snake oil or quack treatment for xyz ailment.

If they have them near you, Amazon's OneMedical has been my "GP" for about two years. Get tests ordered and RXs for cheap.
I dumped my original GP after she refused to sign a waiver to avoid the COVID shot, even though she was the one that treated me for clots. Twice. Why? Because Memorial Hermann told her she couldn't, and she was still affiliated with them in her private-ish practice.

What you’re describing is the demoralization of society. Yuri Bezmenov predicted it was just a matter of time before we were so demoralized we wouldn’t be able to tell fact from fiction even in our own lives.
