Insurance companies are getting richer and so are the doctors and medical equipment suppliers, and big pharma, too.
The ACA holds probably the largest hit against physician income in history by limiting physician ownership in healthcare facilities.
Since then, the American Hospital Association has run wild and you've likely seen an explosion of one or more hospital systems in your area depending on how large a city you live in. These businessmen aren't looking to make sure physicians are well paid and aren't looking to save you any money either.

The ER does triage based on country of origin?
They do.
1. Mexico
2. Honduras
3. Guatemala
4. Venezuela
5. Somalia
6. United States
Venezuela is expected to slide into the #1 seat in the next few days for the time being. We are expected to grab Somalia's place in line because everyone has had enough of their shite currently.

If we are giving insurance companies subsidies they should return any unused, not claim record profits.

So he is a grown man fitting the bill for the elderly now. It has nothing to do with his usage and more with his demographic.
Also nothing to do with whether he's on his own plan or a dependent on his parents' plan.
