Downtown to Mississippi is only the SW portion of the county and is mainly industrial and ghetto. You really don't know your way around enough to form an opinion if you think downtown to Mississippi encompasses even 1/10 of the city

That guy has no idea what he's talking about. He says one area in SE Memphis is ok? Is he talking about collierville? Germantown? East Memphis? Also downtown is doing pretty well right now - over $8 billion in projects currently going on

Downtown has totally changed in the last two years, plus Overton Square has been redeveloped nicely. There is still way too much petty crime though.
