quote:I had the pleasure of living next door to a MOH recipieint. Knew him for a few years and had no idea until I noticed his truck tag. Very benign with jus "MOH", and not a personalized tag. I had to google his name to get the story, because his never mentioned it once to me. Not long after, I found a documentary about him and it was more focused about his life after the military, and how many times he had gone back to Vietnam to find the remains of the soldiers that had not been found and recovered. I never spoke to him about it, didn't think it was my place to bring up the subject, but I did speak to his ex-wife who was an open book. Amazing personl
generals and admirals have to salute CMH recipients…

Read another story about this guys rank. Chief Warrant Officer 5.
Said that there are more Generals than this grade.

It's time for the military to finally start treating SOF much better than the conventional guys and give them special privileges.

Hilarious. There has been one -1 ONE book ever written by a former 160th member. 1!
Michael Durant wrote a book about his time in Somalia. But he wasn't patting himself on the back in it.

Mike’s book was less about him and the 160th and more about the overall “mission”. He was actually pushed by higher command to do the book.
Mike still comes around the compound from time to time.

Delta Force baws aren’t glory hounds like the Navy Seals.I doubt a Delta Force operator would even admit to being an operator if questioned.
You're a fool. A number of Delta guys have been on Jocko Podcast, Mike Drop, and probably more, recently. There is nothing magic about what they do, they're just the best in the world at it.

What about "Razor 03" or "Making a Night Stalker?" Alan Mack also has a website and a podcast.
?? Are you basing this on MACV SOG's "quiet professionalism" that was borne out of 20 year non disclosure agreements with FedGov? Or are you just upset when people write books themselves, and not have books written about them, like "12 Strong?" Why the energy?
ETA: Give the 160th everything they want, they'll use it better than anyone else. (response to your OP)

Because someone responded to my post acting like Nightstalkers are SEALs out chasing book and movie deals practically while deployed.
