The writer looks like she's a fatty. Shocking.

At its core, the phrase “I identify as..” may be the most wheels off statement that our society has seen in quite some time.
It means “I refuse to accept reality, now I want attention because I made that choice”.
Really no different from “my truth”, which is just as ridiculous and just as accepted.

The pharmaceutical companies are all for people staying overweight and unhealthy. I’m sure you’ve noticed all the drug advertisements on TV and everywhere else. The pharmaceutical companies own the media. They do not want you better!!
We are the only ones that have control of our eating and bodies.
I’ve worked in the health and fitness industry for a long time and for the most part people know what to do. It’s doing it that’s hard. No pill and extreme fad diet is gonna help you forever. It’s so mental a lot of times. Start walking to move your body. Don’t jump in crazy you will fail. Lifting weights is key!! Your “Diet” is 90% part of the problem. FACTS.
Obese people are not happy!!

Before I even read it, I assumed they would mention how being skinny is racist.
I’m convinced by this point that NPR staff gets a bonus for every article in which they manage to make something racist.
