I had a customer earlier this year who wanted to buy a brand new vehicle with zero miles on it. Zero. None. It was a huge deal to her, and I'm all for "if I'm spending the money I'm gonna get what I want" and it WOULD be cool to put the very first mile on your new vehicle, but I told her there's no way for that to happen since they legally have to be driven at least once by our techs after they're delivered.
I told her they come off the transport truck with anywhere between 1 and 10 miles and she almost blew a gasket and left in a huff.
Sold her one that next month with 2 miles on it. She wised up.

When I worked at Academy, I had a grown man (talking in his 40's) explode on me because we didn't have the shoes he wanted in his size and the other pair were $5 more. He refused to pay the $5 bucks and threw this godawful temper tantrum. It took everything in me to not laugh bc it was awful.

My best friends new girlfriend is a spoiled brat. Her parents bought her a brand new Audi A5 for her to go to college in. She talks all the time about how much she hates it and that she should have gotten a range Rover...

I had a customer come in one of my stores that was so well rounded he could not fit on a commercial zero turn with the lap bars. He was offended that I offered to special order him the same exact zero turn with a steering wheel no up charge. He got mad stomped out of my business swearing he would never come back. He was back at my store within an hour to take me up on the offer.

My mother in law demanded a discount on a bottle of wine because they only had 3 out of the 4, proper wine glasses.

I was standing in line in the produce section of a grocery store to get my items weighed. The clerk picked up the plastic bag of the old man in front of me. He spun it around and put tape on it so the items would not fall out. As he set it on the scale, the old man started screaming that the kid was charging him for the air he had trapped in the bag. Both the kid and I were so surprised that the man thought he was being overcharged for the air in the bag that neither of us said anything.
The kid deflated the bag so the old man would shut up.

At a block party in the strip of businesses in front of Pelican Point there were trays of really good mini cupcakes. One woman complained loudly and refused to eat them because there was a cupcake liner on them.

I was General Manager of a service business with headquarters in Canada. As we were getting things off the ground things were kind of crazy and we ended up continuing to send paychecks to an employee that no longer worked for us. Her sister also worked for us for a while as well. The reason we found out that we continued to send checks to the one sister is the other sister complained that her sister was still getting checks and she wanted to know whey she wasn't still getting checks from us.

This past Thursday as we are finally getting a rental, the lady in front of declined her rental because it was a huyandai Elantra . They explained if she declined she would be put back of the list. No matter, her insurance paid $75 a day and an Elantra wasn't good enough. She walked out and left. What an idiot.

A cyclist tapped on my window today and yelled "you gonna drive or play on your phone!"
I was sitting in a parking lot in my parked car.

I 100% agree with her decision.
If a dealer isn't putting me in a decent demo, I make enterprise drive a decent car in from NO.
I will make an exception for a fiat 500.
They may or may not be fun as all hell on a racetrack.

I am sure I can think of more, but one that comes to mind right now is hearing this woman have her entire day ruined because the McDonalds worker forgot to give her BBQ sauce. That's one of those things that when it happens you think "damn, I should have checked before pulling off", but this woman was outside of the building (someone who worked for another company that shares the building) talking to a few other people and you could hear the anger in her voice.
She was all like "I come to work everyday, I go out and get lunch and I can't even depend on the people who work at McDonalds to put bbq sauce in my bag. Is it really that hard to do? I shouldn't have to ask twice. When I make my order and say I want BBQ sauce I expect to get it. I might stop by on the way home and talk to the manager about this".. She was so angry that it was actually funny.

Fast food employees really do spit in food. People like her probably get the special sauce from time to time.

Under normal circumstances, perhaps, but when you have thousand of folks needing a rental you take what's available.
