to give you an idea about her body, she told me that she’d recently been Jessica Biel’s body double for a nude scene in a film Biel did with her then-boyfriend.. he was one of the actors named Chris, not sure which one .. anyway, Vanessa proceeds to tell me the whole story , and about how Jessica was right off camera, directing Vanessa and the guy in the sex scene .. it stuck with me b/c that’s not the type of story you easily forget .

The film: London (2005)

The "Chris": Captain "Hates" America

With a rudimentary knowledge of how internet searches work, one can find the scene quite easily.

closing arguments were today, case is with the jury

defense:
quote:

Motta, her lawyer argued, was a green litigator blinded both by a fiery competitive streak and by a relationship with an older lover — the disbarred lawyer Sean Alfortish. Calling Alfortish a “con man,” defense lawyer Sean Toomey said Alfortish manipulated the younger Motta into pressing forward with bogus cases. “That makes her an inexperienced, maybe stupid, lawyer,” Toomey said. “It doesn’t make her a criminal.”
quote:

The defense attorneys presented no witnesses; neither Giles nor Motta took the witness stand
quote:

While their attorneys portrayed Giles and Motta as dim-witted legal minds, McLaren pointed to text messages that the jury viewed, in which Labeaud and Giles used food lingo to allegedly plot out collisions. “What do you think they were talking about? The Saints? The weather?” McLaren said. “He and Mr. Giles had a well-oiled fraud machine.”
no witnesses, no testimony, and the defense is they were too stupid to know the cases were fraudulent

I hope she is acquitted. Too nice of a body to be in jail and she has a kid.

I dont get how the rest of the King Firm avoided prosecution.

I’m sure other partners or lawyers working for the King Firm are having trouble sleeping at night- at least they should be

Criminal defense work sounds lucrative- get paid well, do a couple of cross examinations, call no witnesses, say my client was dumb in closing- and sit down..

You only keep getting those jobs if it actually works.

Not sure I see it working here unless the jury got paid off.

If they were going to get indicted it would have happened. The general thought seems to be that this is climax of the investigation.

i'm guessing that tha\ere wasnt evidence to indict the other partners personally . not to make a joke about it but that seems obvious

I just don’t buy that they couldn’t find enough to roll with. If you indict the firm might as well indict the individuals. There’s been testimony about Milazzo playing tough guy when confronted with the cases being bullshite, and communications between Motta and other lawyers alerting them to the feds being on their trail.

That’s a flattering picture of her. I saw her at a conference last year, and she was as big as a house. And I mean BIG.

2026 - Vanessa Motta Walking Into Court

Appears that she’s on the Ozempic, unless she managed to lose 70 lbs in a year, which is doable, possibly even due to stress, but unlikely. Probably bossing up for life after disbarment.
