my dad does the same, hes 80. If it isnt football season he literally only watches Fox News. 8 hours a day at least.

My dear old dad, was paying out the butt for cable (cox). Cox offers a flat rate for older people and cut his monthly expense by a third, and the internet was a flat rate, as well. Check in with her local cable provider.
