re: Kitchen etiquette

Not sure I understand the question. We use both. They each have very different and specific uses. Paper towels to wipe up small spills/messes or wiping your hands and face while eating. Use dish towel to dry any dishes that we had wash or to wipe larger spills.
After using the paper towel it is thrown away. After using the dish rag I rinse it in sink if used to wipe up a food and then throw it in a laundry basket next to washing machine in laundry room to be washed later.
I don’t doubt that it received huge viewership worldwide. I didn’t watch it live but I have since gone back and watched on YouTube. Regardless what the viewership was, doesn’t change the fact that it sucked and was one of the worst half time shows I’ve ever seen.
Denzel is a top 5 actor all time and one of the few who I will go see a film he is in purely because he is in it. Wouldn’t need to know what it was about or even the title. Gladiator 2 is the only bad movie I have ever seen him in.

15-22 year olds with guns. Every. Damn. Time.

My dad had guns since he was a kid and he somehow didn’t murder my mom. I had guns hanging on a gun rack in my bedroom when I was 12 and have owned them ever since. I never murdered my wife. My son had guns hanging on the exact gun rack I used since he was 12 and he didn’t murder his wife. I guess three generations of women were very lucky none of these guns murdered them.

I have worked 41 years for the same company

So happy for you friend. How hard have the last ten years been. Did it drag by? I’m 53! and have been with same company for 28 years. Plan on working til 65 so 12 more years and I’ll have 40 in.
Here’s my take. Everyone is racist. Everyone. Every white person you know. Every black person you know. Every Asian, every Hispanic. It’s human nature. We are all tribal to some degree and have been throughout human history and always will be.

Now does that mean all people are bad. Of course not. I’ll try to illustrate. I’m a 53 y/o white dude that grew up in the south. Grew up poor in a predominantly black neighborhood in Shreveport in the 80’s. Have I ever used the “N” word? Of course I have. Have I ever told a racist joke of course I have. Went to Woodlawn High School. Were there black guys I considered friends. Sure were. Played hoops every afternoon under the dome at Oak Terrace. These same black guys that I considered friends and were always cool to me, did they ever say shite about white folks. Heard it all the time. Cracker mother fricker this, hill billy that. Had some black dudes show up from another school and one of them thought I fouled him too hard and wanted to kick my arse. The black guys I played with on the reg stepped in and shut that shite down.

Best neighbor I ever had in the 5 houses I have owned was a black family. Christian family. He was a supervisor at cable company and she worked at GE. Has two kids same ages as mine. They played together all the time. Sometimes at my house sometimes at theirs. He taught me everything I know about keeping a pristine green lawn. I would have done anything in the world for them and they the same. Now, would I had let my son date his daughter. Not a chance in hell. If you asked him if he would let his daughter date my son, he would have answered hell no also. Does that make each of us, a white guy and a black guy racist? Maybe, heck probably. But we still would have been there for each other because we were both good people.

Good people don’t want to see other people suffer and will generally be helpful to other people to varying degrees. Bad people will treat other people like shite. But good or bad, we are all racist.

Was out of town all weekend so just threw together some chili dogs and canned baked beans.

I have watched the 84 version many times since its first release. Watched it again recently and ended up going down a rabbit hole of reading about the history of Pitcairn island since its was discovered as the the spot where the mutineers settled. Very interesting to read about. If you want to to move their they are actually offering free land and a small sum of money to get you started. Apparently they have a hard time keeping their population up. There is no type of college or university on island so many of the youth leave to go to Australia or Nee Zealand to further their education and then never return.

Didn’t know they were going to kill off Monica in between this show and Yellowstone.

Well shite. Almost makes me not even want to watch it.

There was a shitty b-movie that had these two as mother daughter:

I actually thought it was a pretty entertaining popcorn flick.

And yes that’s a string duo. I was always shocked Kari Wuhrer was never more of a bigger star. She was a smoke show.
As another poster already stated, Southern Classic is better than all the other fast food chicken joints. And their side items are all very good as well.

Who are you with? My son in law is a welder. 12 years experience.
Friday football game. After the game swing by National Liquor Bank on 70th street for a 98 cent 40oz. Swing by the Woodlawn McDonald’s at corner of 70th and Mansfield. Hang out in parking lot with friends listening to 2 Live Crew bumping on someone’s system. Buy some weed off one of the heads or brothers. Run down to other end of Mansfield Rd to Southwood Taco Bell on Jewella. Either pick up some Southwood chics or get into a fight with some Southwood shite kicker. End up at someone’s house. Smoke, drink, frick, puke, then drag arse to the house.
Not frozen, but wife and I are pretty partial to the Walmart deli pizzas. Usually get the meat lovers and add some Italian seasoning before baking. Catch them marked down to $5.99 all the time and will bring home and throw in the deep freeze. Not bad for during the week when we run out of weekend leftovers and don’t have time to cook an actual meal after work
Not sure I’ve ever even eaten in Jewish Deli. Not sure there is one around Shreveport Bossier area.

Not really deli or a diner but I’ll take Taylor’s on North Market in Shreveport for the win.

You’re an idiot. What does the level of popularity of the sport have to do with the OP’s analogy. He wasn’t comparing the two sports. He was comparing the impact of the first two coaches on their sport and school versus the potential impact of the following two coaches on their sport and school.

I can understand using a gradual phasing out approach if this statistic is true. However I simply see no reason to walk back on the banning of artificial dyes in our food. I am very disappointed in this. My grandson has severe ADHD and in effort to not have to medicate him, my daughter had gone to extensive measures to monitor what he eats with a heavy focus on dye free foods. It is amazing what difference it had made in his behavior.

Why is Trump firing Activist Judges?

Maybe because…….

The feds have FIRED immigration Judge Vivienne Gordon-Uruakpa after she approved a staggering 97% of asylum claims, topping every judge in the state.
