re: This is starting to look like one of Saban’s stacked Bama rosters on paper

We definitely had a great portal pickup. I think we are still somewhat questionable at OL particularly tackle. While we have the depth, little concerned with limited amount of experience at DT, edge, LB. I think Pickett and Woodland will both be great, I wish we had a little more experienced back ups at CB. I think with this new staff we will be fine but if I had to nitpick concerns those would be them.
If we somehow were to land Seaton, Princewill and pick up one solid CB with good experience then I would say we should be playoff contenders year 1 for sure.

Dottery: I agree even as a LSU fan
Umommy: We shall see
Watkins: Debatable. Watkins still a great pick up and better than any WR we had last year.
Harper: Debatable. Curnes has potential but didn’t show it last year. Harper has just as much potential. I’m fine with the swap.

Sounds like what I need. Thanks
What is the cheapest way to have year round access to SEC Network/Espn
Posted by Kingshakabooboo on 1/15/26 at 9:39 pm
Quick Backstory…Six years ago we had Dish. I was about to cancel it but then we ended up having to move my MIL in with us. I went ahead and kept it but reduced it down to just one TV in living room for her. About 3 months ago we finally had to move MIL into assisted living facility. Wife and I discussed it and came to realization that sports is literally the only thing we watch on Dish. We do have Netflix, mainly for the wife. Honestly other than sports I watch Pluto TV or Tubi for pretty much anything else. What is the cheapest way I can keep access to SEC network and ESPN. I can use rabbit ears for locals and stream movies off the aforementioned Pluto and Tubi.

Dude we have Green and our other Portal TE to catch passes. Not that this guy won’t be expected to catch passes but Lane is bringing him in to also basically be a full back and blocking TE.

absolutely fricking trashed his teams for “playing street ball instead of running an offense” and that was why we always got beat by good teams.
And you know what, I’d be fine with that. His teams were fun to watch. He was fun to watch. We won more than we lost and we made the tournament. I’m good with that. We are a baseball and football school. I just want basketball to be entertaining again.

All good buddy. That’s why I didn’t fire back to harshly. Definitely pumped for the trip. And hey, if the old lady wants to invite some Nordic God or Godess into the camper van one night….. :pimp:

Plus I hate Sean Penn
I hate him as well. I have always refused to watch anything he was in. For the longest time the only thing I had ever seen him in was Fast Times and only because I saw it before he or I were that interested in politics or what was going on in the world.
Then for some reason about a year ago, I watched Mystic River. As much as I hate to say it, Sean Penn is a hell of an actor. I have actually gone back and watched several of his movies specifically to see his acting. I still think he is one of the biggest idiots on the planet, but there is no denying his acting talents.

When we bought my wife’s 2020 Infinity QX60 she was so excited. I hate that damn car so many fricking buttons. I feel like I’m in the cockpit of the space shuttle or something. And since I don’t drive it very often, when I do, I can never remember how to change crap like temp or radio stations.

I understand where you are coming from but keep this in mind. We fly in that Saturday morning and will be spending that first day in Reykjavik seeing sites in town. I’m assuming the game will be a night game and Iceland is 3 hrs ahead I believe. Will likely be around 10PM by the time game starts. Between the jet lag and spending all day walking site seeing, My wife will be crashed out in the hotel room by that point. And if she is not, she will actually be just as interested as me in watching the game. I got a good one that loves the Tigers as much as I do. Nothing on our Iceland trip will be missed if I step out at 10Pm for a couple hours to watch the game. I have a camper van lined up for next morning and we will be spending the next 10 days camping out way around the entire island.
But hey, thanks for the great advice. It was so much more helpful than the other guys who actually suggested some places that may be showing it.

I was so stoked when I first got mine. Cooked just about every meal on it for a month. Was doing big breakfasts and pancakes every weekend. Novelty wore off pretty quick. Now basically just use it if I’m doing stir fry, Philly cheesesteak, quesadillas, chicken fajitas, smash burgers or pancakes. Steaks, chops, and regular burgers are all better on the grill.
re: How many of you live in a trailer?
Posted by Kingshakabooboo on 1/13/26 at 12:42 pm to cbree88
I haven’t but I’m actually considering one at the moment. Currently live in an 2100 SF 4/2 brick home in North Bossier. Just about paid off and could sell for about $380k. Looking at one on Caddo Lake. It’s a 1700 SF 3/2 2020 Double Wide on about an acre wooded lot right the lake with beautiful view and a 2 stall boat house and a large separate 2 bay metal building. They are asking about $340K. My wife is hesitant because it’s a trailer and says they don’t hold value. We are both in our mid 50’s and this would definitely be our last home.

Taking my wife to Iceland first week of September. We arrive on Saturday, September 5th and will spend that first day in Reykjavik before spending the next 10 days making our way around the Ring Road.Anyone know where I might could catch the game. Will end up missing the following week against Tech, but I can live with that. Really would like to see Clemson game.

I really hope to see Charlie Ross some this year. I was very excited about him coming out of high school. Knew we wouldn’t see much this past year with the upperclassman that were ahead of him but really excited about his future.
Regardless whether it’s Leavitt or Longstreet, who do we pick up as a 3rd and or 4th QB.
Posted by Kingshakabooboo on 1/11/26 at 10:25 pm
Let’s say we do land either Leavitt or Longstreet, because I think everyone can agree we don’t get both, who do we go after for number 3 and possibly 4. Anyone knowledgeable on JUCO QB’s we may be looking at?
I know many have been bitching, oh no the sky is falling, little cry babies….but I think this shite has been exciting as hell to watch unfold.

Who has best odds for being our 3 starting WR?
Posted by Kingshakabooboo on 1/11/26 at 10:15 pm
First thing…this is definitely not a bitch about the number of new receiver threads. I am pumped as hell to see all the new names. I admittedly don’t know much about some of them however. I know it’s extremely early in the game but based on previous on-field results and potential impact, who do we think our top 3 receivers will be next year.
