Why yes, yes I do. Matter of fact 13U Majors to be exact. After 4 years in USSSA, Grand Slam (Now OTC/Perfect Game) I think I have more experience to say a 9U major team doesn't exist. Real baseball begins no earlier than 12U. Up until then it's a coin flip on errors to allow runs.
However, I deal with assclown dads like you weekly who think their son's are giving their dad's sports resume more notches. You sir are a dad sitting in the stands, and not playing. Sit there eat your peanuts, and let him enjoy his time on the field. He doesn't have even 1 major league scout watching him. Till then he's just a kid.

It's hilarious that you took any of my posts as serious. This is the OT. I don't even have a fricking kid.

My lil man got himself a homerun too. Hit the ball right down 3rd base line. Wrapping them bases like a boss. He was touching 2nd before the kid even got to the ball. It was so cole, son.

Wow what a great comeback. Awesome so New, cutting edge and refreshing.

In fairness, it actually was a pretty decent retort.

It's the same retort used 500x a day here on the OT. not really groundbreaking stuff. Between this, and mom jokes, it's prolly 30% of all posts.

That's what the time period around 10-13 is for to transition into the phase of taking the game a little more serious, not at 6-8 years old

Back in the early 90's my grandmother told me she would give me $10 for home run hits. I popped one up that got stuck in the outfield chain link fence... thus allowing me to round the bases while the out fielders struggled to get it unstuck. She refused to pay up because it did not go over the fence.
Moral of the story.... kids today need old timers giving them old school motivation.

You should have told your grandmother that she wasn't in court trying to get out of a speeding ticket on some technicality.
She wanted results, she got results. Now pay up.

We've been telling you it isn't yours and that she's a whore for years. You finally came to your senses.
Also, every time one of these fricking travel ball threads comes up, I think of the same line from "Don't Damn Me" : "Your only validation is in living your own life. Vicarious existence is a fricking waste of time."
Sad that some adults live vicariously through their kids.

Yeah!
My sons 11-12 team had to have their game on a 9-10 field last week because of the muddy infield. The other team had a player hit a homerun over the short fence and his team did a home plate mashup like he was Kirk Gibson hitting a walk off. I came unglued at the lack of class and dressed down their coach for allowing that shite. I was right behind their dugout gate threatening to beat his arse and told the mouthy moms who were defending him to come at me. The umpire kicked me out of the park but I just walked across the street and sat on a big hill about 80 yards away flipping them all birds. I hate those kind of parents who defend that kind of shite and was ready to fight all of them but they were just shot talking pussies. I knew the cop who showed up and he kind of agreed with me but told me I needed to go ahead and leave the area and he would bring my son home. Not one of those parents had said a thing to me sense then because they know I will dust them off.

And if they hit it over the fence you'd probably say it was only a base hit.
