Standard poodles are great dogs. Had a chocolate one years ago when I lived in Texas.

I have a two year old giant schnauzer that I adopted a few months ago. They have a non shedding coat like a poodle.

The thing with the guardianship is we paid $500 for her instead of $1500-2000. Every time they breed her we get $500 from the litter also. So it works out nice for us because we dont have the time it would take to potty and crate train a 6 week old pup right now.
Congrats on supporting Puppy Mills...

Goldens in general are just great dogs. Wife talked me into one about 3 years ago and I don't regret it one bit. Sweet, smart, and outgoing. Sheds like hell which is why I'm thinking of getting a Goldendoodle for out next one.
