Worst idea I’ve seen in a long time in a world where we need increased security at anything with large groups of people. That many people in a pool which slows mobility is just not smart at the current moment security wise IMO.

The only person I know for sure that’s racist is that Dylan Roofie kid. I know it’s roof but he talks like he took 10 xanny bars before his interrogation.
Other than that I’ve never met a person that’s ever told me they don’t like black people. I’ve heard it about other races for sure but not black.

John Jay Park (Upper east side) has a public pool. I used to bring my kids there all the time when we lived in NYC. I was very skeptical at first about the shitshow of a public pool but that operation was run very strictly. You had to shower off before getting to the pool deck. You could only bring white towels and your swimsuit onto the pool deck. If you wore a shirt it had to be plain white with nothing on it. It was extremely orderly. There would be a line for holiday weekends so we skipped those times. On a normal weekend you could go right in and grab an open deck chair. A lady from the school system would also hand out PB&Js to kids to make sure had something to eat while not in school.
This was right before COVID when NYC seemed to be at a high point.
