NFL players? More likely to have been raised in poverty than to have been spoon fed their whole lives.

They've done nothing but cause problems
What problems were caused? What problems were solved by this vote by the NFL?

I don’t give a shite about the kneeling. I think it’s stupid but it doesn’t bother me in the least bit.
My MIL was so mad during the season when all the kneeling shite was going down. She was going on and on about how disrespectful it is and how spoiled and entitled those players were and so on and so forth.
Recently, she started telling me about her hippy days in the late 60’s and early 70’s and how she protested the Vietnam war. She was saying all kinds of horrible shite they did to protest the worst of which was spitting on soldiers as they returned home.
Dumbfounded, I asked her how on one hand she could justify spitting on another human being for doing their job regardless of the reasons why and on the other hand so spitefully put down NFL players for kneeling during the Anthem.
She went silent for a little bit and finally spoke. She said she was misguided back then and had her priorities mixed up and even admitted to being unfair/too harsh about the kneeling protest.
Idk what the point of my story is, I guess to show that people can’t see their own actions as equal or worse than the actions of others.
I did think it was nice to hear her admit to being somewhat at fault in both instances.

They should have had this rule in place already.
Since they didn't, it didn't bother me when players kneeled during the national anthem. Just because I don't agree with what someone does, doesn't mean they shouldn't have the right to do it and as long as the league allowed it, it didn't really bother me one bit.. But from a business aspect of it, it's in the NFL's best interest to ban kneeling during the national anthem.

It's their right to protest. It's the league's right, as a private entity, to provide incentives or disincentives to certain disruptive behavior while on the job.
In the end, money talks.

Now they will just do a fist in the air with their head down, or turn their backs.

It's their rules..follow it or stay in the locker room...I dont see what the problem is.
Was this same thought process applied when donald trump demanded that kneeling players be fired? There was no rule against it, so what was the problem?

This changes my life incredibly. I still watch the Saints with my husband and sons most Sundays, but I don’t tune in to watch who kneels or doesn’t. That seems as vapid as the Kardashians.

Stupid. The people who had a problem with kneeling were the snowflakes in this case.
I always say I don't care if they stand there and jerk off; I just wanna watch football.

Here's a better question - why have the national anthem at all before a freaking football game?
