Never been to Tchoup Yard. We have a little one and breweries allow kids, so they get most of our alcohol business.

What do you mean by "interesting"?

Im sure someone has it linked to demographics, but for now you just need to know the white areas and then look at the precincts.
It depends. Drive around Hurstville or Audubon during election season and you see a lot of signs for democrats—including absolutely retarded judges. Drive around Lakeview and you see signs for republicans. Drive around the parts of gentilly that are becoming nice and you see a mix.
I’d say the whites in 70115, 70119, and 70118 skew Democrat. These are the movers and shakers of the city. Lots of white people in 70124 where it is much redder, but it is more new money with less influence on the city.

Actually they aren’t.
You think whites only vote for whites and blacks only vote for blacks in NOLA?

If you look at NO exit polling? Blacks vote en masse most of the time and the white vote is split. The most recent mayoral election was an exception due to both candidates being black and democrat.

Like I said, voting record disagrees with your analysis.
It is probably because most of the conservatives white people are still registered at their parents as well. They just like to bitch a politics.

Correct. This is for any race. Doesn’t matter if it’s local, state or national. In NOLA there are more whites voting across the racial line than blacks voting for white candidates.

Not sure what gave you that impression. Clearly that is not the case.

That would be interesting to actually know.

Blacka as a whole tend to vote for Democrats. New Orleans tends to vote for Democrats.

Apparently it wasn't that obvious to someone.

Was referring to the different types of liberals in Nola. But way to assume I was talking about race. Fwiw I totally agree Nola is a liberal city. I've been talking about old school v. new school libs ITT

I heard that courtyard is going to refuse to serve the Mardi Gras Indians. Is that true?

It also helps to pay attention to the other person's previous thoughts in said discussion

I definitely haven't been taking this thread as seriously as you would like. You'll get over it.
