The bad news is I’m obese. The good news is I’ve lost 10 lbs in the last 12 days.

Feel free to hurl your insults at me.

I hope you don't take anything in this thread as being directed at people like you. You recognize you are carrying extra weight and you are doing something about it. The edginess is directed at the ones that are carrying 25-30 extra pounds but are convinced that because they picked up a couple of plates 15 years ago their unicorn body breaks the BMI.

Just keep on "grinding" you are only going to continue to feel better and better.

I learned from this thread that I am indeed a unicorn. Never would have thought. Lol

I'm just an average Joe that goes to the gym.. I'm not an NFL athlete not even close.

Yall just can't comprehend that it's not that hard if you put in the work.

For my height of 6'2", I need to weigh 144 lbs.

I weigh more than that. Because I'm not in any of the progressive new reeducation compounds yet.

Seriously that's nearly starving in my book. I'm thinking 165 would be a healthier weight for someone that height. 194 on the high end actually seems a little high, but I guess for some builds that's okay.

Amazing how these retards like ^ just stumble into the thread and post stupid shite over and over like overweight lemmings.

Delusion is free, reality is when the check comes due.

My computer shows I have burned 67,216 calories in the last 28 days so I may know a little about putting in work. That was 1120.6 miles at an average of 21.8 mph. That is not even including resistance training.

5'11" 185lbs here. I've run 225 miles this year and lift 5x+ a week with intensity. I'm overweight. It's pretty hilarious that I qualify.

Enjoying the fat shaming tho, keep it up.

fat acceptance isnt the extreme morbidly obese, its the guy that is 20-40 lbs overweight that hasnt lifted weights in 20+ years that claims he would look like a skeleton if he followed BMI.....that is the biggest part of fat acceptance.

I’m 6’ and 200 pounds. I could lose 15-20. I don’t accept the fat. It came on gradually over 20 years.

BMI isn’t the best statistical measure for weight management (especially for non-elderly males), and Americans are too damn fat.

These are two separate discussions that the OT loves to lump into one.

What is a better method for measuring large population groups?
