Sounds fricked. Sorry for the sensitive reaction. It's state govt and DOTD so youre prob right.

I just had some bad experiences in grad school when we would be out in the field installing equipment for research and had NCDOT guys out there and people are really rude.

Well I snapped it around lunch today and considering it's 8:30 now that would be around 8.5 hours before I remembered I had taken this pic then decided to upload it.

Hope that answers your condescending question.

I really don't care. They could have had 50 guys out there sitting in the shade and I wouldn't care. I just found the picture funny is all.

Aren't these guys on salary anyway so if they are all sitting in the office taking a nap or all at a job site aren't the tax dollars spent the same anyway?

Government shouldn't even be in the business of fixing red lights.

Well to be fair, they have to put in overtime since they had last Monday off. Now they're up against the Mardi Gras break and it'll be St. Patrick's day before you know it.

Meh, just never got the point questioning a job I had no idea how to do, or what it takes to do it.

Then again, I have found there is no shortage of people that insist there is a better way to do something, but never offer a solution.

Get over yourself and lighten up. It was a joke and I thought that much was fairly obvious.

That being said, I am sure that any private business on a budget could find a more efficient way.
