Not in Texas.
In Baton Rouge and this would already be gone.

I don't remember him playing RB for LSU. I guess the games not being televised consistently back then has a lot to do with this. Hell I can remember clear as day having to listsen to the 95 LSU Auburn game and Auburn was a top 5 team. Troy Twillie iced the game with an INT I believe.

He wasn't much of a running back at LSU.
He was pretty good, he had the hardest hit I've ever seen on a punt return I think, you could hear it anywhere in the stadium. Everyone assumed the cat that got blocked was dead.
Students called it the bone of the century.

. You have no idea what your talking about.
Yeah ummm...well yeah. He pretty much didn't do anything. He was converted to a fullback and rarely touched the ball.
So yes I do know what the frick I'm talking about dickhead.

Wasn't he one of Curley's "Four Horsemen" or whatever they called those four highly touted backs that all came out of Texas and all of whom Curley was remarkably able to turn into duds?
he wasn't a part of Curley's Fab Five. It was
Robert davis, artie moore, david butler, jay Johnson, & Robert toomer.
Davis transferred to UAB & Moore to Ole Miss.

Actually you don't. He was a damn good running back on a terrible team. He was one of the few guys that played hard and fought his arse off. Had some pretty good games as I recall.
Actually played on an intramural football team with Odell Sr., "Juice" Williams, Wesley Jacobs and a couple other players. "Odie" was a nice guy and a good all around dude. But damn, those boys talked some trash. Pretty cool experience playing with those guys against Todd Walker and the LSU baseball team. And yes, we won.

Before that time. Read Friday Night Lights - he was kind of a big deal in high school.
