I got so sick on Beam one time right after highschool, I cant even hardly smell it without gagging.
So, reluctantly, I'd take Jack.

Jack Daniels is nasty
If you want a really good bourbon that is the best tradeoff between fancy/quality and price, then Eagle Rare. It's 40 years old as a label, but Sazerac owns them now. They are sort of committed to never raising the price to what it really should be - could easily be over $40/bottle, but you can get it for $32ish.

As noted, I don't often drink but I keep Crown Royal and Makers Mark around for friends, and occasionally for me.
I do want to try some good stuff, but that's another thread, and for another time. So many people talk about Jack and Jim. I mean, they even write songs about those drinks, so I figured I might as well check them out but just one of them right now.
