The Financial Times has exclusively reported that the Thai travel agency that booked the tickets for the men had been asked to arrange the travel by an Iranian middleman.

Pretty huge bombshell.

"The men" being the two guys with stolen passports, who have been confirmed to be non-asian.

Yeah they've been linked together.

Can't link directly because it's behind FTs paywall. Here's a reputable source for the quote I used.

Me either. Finding a seat cushion or door isn't that big either.

It was being reported last night that they were purchased together, but the report I was reading at the time thought it might have just been two people trying to get away to another country who couldn't get the passports.

This Iranian middle man news is huge.

Why would an Iranian want to blow up a plane full of Chinese people?

Yeah, it would seem like they would at least be trying to affect a European or American plane. Do the Iranians have any grievances in Asia?

If the plane disappearance is linked to the 2 passengers with terrorist motives, it could be very hard to say.

A possible theory is the plane was meant to be hijacked and used as a weapon, possibly in Singapore where American business is prominent.

It's also possible that the "Iranian" isn't actually Iranian, but just a Middle Easterner who lives in Iran.

Also, in terms of security, southeastern Asian-based airlines aren't exactly top of the line. I've heard stories of people very easily smuggling weapons, drugs, and even slaves on board some airlines there. An ambitious terrorism group could see that as an opportunity to make a name for themselves.

Or, this could just be a missing plane that had two passengers with stolen passports. Stolen passports are extremely popular in southeast Asia afterall.

Definitely not with China. In fact, China is funding many Iranian business projects and ignoring UN sanctions.

This is crazy. You would think with todays’ technology that losing a giant passenger jet wouldn’t be remotely possible, but I guess that just isn’t true.

Sadly it is not looking good for the people on this plane. Now we just need to find answers, but if we never find the majority of the wreckage we may never get the answers.

Stolen passports in other parts of the world are very common.

Look at what 9?11 did. They want to create fear and cause as much financial issues as they can.

There are a ton of reasons, but basically they want all to know their power to reach anyone at anytime.

No telling with those guys IF they were involved.

Maybe it was a hijack gone wrong, pilots fought it, etc
