At the 9/11 memorial in New York, there is a small enclave that refers to the jumpers. It was very sobering and was the moment that my young boys truly felt the gravity of the situation.

There was a high rise fire in New Orleans in 1972 at the Rault Center. It burned long enough for camera crews to get there and film the fire. Just like in the Twin Towers, people jumped to their certain deaths to escape the flames. The video is easy to find but I’m not linking it.

That was November 1972. The Howard Johnson hotel sniper incident happened in January 1973. It seemed like the world was going crazy.

If you know nobody knows what you’re talking about, then you’re just attempting to derail the thread. Why?

In video footage taken at the scene of the accident, the first rescuer is initially shown running to the car, then immediately turning away after seeing Phillips' body and realizing the hopelessness of any attempt at resuscitation. The track was littered with debris, necessitating a lengthy red flag period while track officials cleared the track.

The race resumed after a 40-minute red flag. Track president Humpy Wheeler elected not to cancel the event, citing Phillips' wreck as a "freak deal."

I'm leaning toward "he's in a shitty band and that's his shitty amp".

On a side note, kind of shocking how bad video and photography was just 20 years ago

People...it's not blood on the amp. Take a look at it - the "blood effect" is only on the screen, as the rest of the amp head is clean.

Clint...for the love of God...just tell everyone what it is - even if it's nothing.

Oh, and your recording setup looks awesome.

Homeboy thinks he's in Korn there with that 7-string.

EDIT: Finally, we know what it is and can stop fricking with him.

I travel a lot and have several pictures of where bad things happened (or would happen).

This is me at the indoor observatory of 2 WTC / South Tower in May, 1990. 11 years old and 11 years before 9/11.

This is the former Texas School Book Depository in Dallas, TX. Picture was taken from the X on the road where Kennedy was shot in the head.

This is the limousine Kennedy was in when he was shot.

Mt. St. Helens.

Custer's Last Stand.

Where Flight 93 crashed.

Chair Lincoln was sitting in when shot.

Area 51 gate where alien bodies are kept.

Jesus that Phillips accident. Could you imagine being the guys who had to clean up that wreck? I know the Dale one was horrible and Ken saw some bad stuff, but that Phillips one there is no hiding that.

would be an easy gig, 2 guitar players to play power chords and effects. Also have 8 string guitars but I prefer a les paul 6 string
