Looks pretty legit. I am usually pretty good at dieting but I have become lazy and want somebody else to spoon feed it to me lately.

what all does trader joes have?

My weekly staples as of late are their pre cooked and sliced chicken or turkey breast, olives in brine (good snack), melodious blend (frozen lentils, garbanzo beans, tomatoes and olive oil), quinoa tortilla chips and any of their salsa's...just to name a few...

Just go and look through their frozen section...cook your protein on Sunday and buy two things of frozen veggies and you're good to go for a week easy and quick.

I'm looking into doing meal prepping on Sundays as well. It seems fairly simple, I just need to get off of my lazy arse and do it.

Some re-occurring themes from reading up:
-Spend the most of your money on quality proteins. Get a good mix of them. Chicken breast, some fish (salmon and halibut are great.. but tilapia is cheap), some ground beef or turkey (ground beef is great, but turkey is cheaper). Pork roasts are cheap. Eggs are a fantastic protein source and incredibly cheap. You can stretch out meals by adding eggs.
-Stock up on nuts, full-fat cottage cheese, peanut butter, and salsa to make various breakfasts and snacks.
-Get your vegetables from a local farmers market to get great fresh vegetables on the cheap.
-Lower-GI stuff like sweet potatoes, quinoa, fruits, and lentils for carb sources if you're into that sorta thing. Stay away from breads and rices for the most part.

You dont have to if you dont want to, especially if you carb cycle. Crappy starch carbs immediately after you work out and then fairly low carb on days you dont work out.

Just found the same thing...if that's it, it's really not anything revolutionary. Nor does it seem conducive to a busy schedule, but idk...
