Or you could just post the number
YouTube revenue is not an exact science but you can get ballparks.

He literally said he was going to this when he bounced months ago.
Comments are always off, his channel is banned from having comments.

He makes more off youtube than having his own firm.

It seemed largely his wife not liking it and him not wanting to rock the marital boat
Not explicit but definitely picked up the vibe
I agree

Dude is an incredible man, and young boys and teenagers alike look at him as a role model.
In the age of internet filth, he was the hero many young boys needed. He's largely responsible for turning my son and his neighborhood friends into bushwacking enthusiast. Likely saved thousands of kids from millions of hours of video game play.

But my point is he doesn’t need money like some people are claiming

I've thought that content creation can't possibly be a career choice. To crank out enough content to make serious money and stay popular for year upon year would be draining.
I mean, Mark Rober makes like 1 video a month and socialblade says his channel earns anywhere from 1.6 to 26 million USD...

Says he's posting one next saturday 11/15 and the following saturday 11/22.

He has nearly 4 billion YouTube views across his channels.
I think a huge portion of his views are from Youtube shorts which doesn't bring in nearly the same money as traditional length videos.
Much less ad revenue.

My son was telling me he was back on YT and was so excited. He used to wait for his new video every Saturday. I was happy he was watching something like OB and not other things that are out there on the web.
It's definitely sparked interest in the outdoors at an early age for my son who was never much of an athlete. This helped me to convince the wife to get a camp on the lake to help foster that interest and give dad a place to fish and drink beer.
I would have loved to be able access this kind of content as a kid.

New one posted today of him harvesting a walrus skull. I recommend, really interesting.

Comments turned off.
He has addressed this before. YouTube automatically turns off comments on channels where minors are featured. He said he could get YT to turn them back on if he wanted, but thinks that its probably for the best so he just let it ride.
But when he "retired" from YT he said that he had some stuff already filmed that he would put out when he got around to it and that he was gonna help his son with his channel.

He addressed this as well. He was constantly having people come up to him irl while he was out trying to enjoy time with his family. Also, people jacking his content and posting it on their tiktok and YT shorts channels and he wasn't being compensated for it.
He said those were the 2 main reasons for him shutting it down.
