Yeah...I was just shite talking on tRant. No reason to type out several paragraphs in response.

I even did some self-deprecating humor to the other LSU poster. Give us some fricking slack...Defending champs sucking against everyone...You are gonna catch some heaters. Get used to it this year.

To be fair, playing LSU this season isnt a good read on how good the team is. Everyone has looked good against LSU and that pitching staff...
"Lil Bro" and "Not our rival" handing Bama L's more than everyone else in that graphic.

Our WR are good.

He was playing with, and against, backups, but #9 Spencer looks like a gamer. Same the rb #24 Davenport.
Backup QB controversy getting started early in Auburn. The Oregon St transfer guy looked much better than Golesh's boy from USF.

Should be fun.
The SEC has nearly always managed to saddle AU with a very difficult schedule. Nothing new here.

but we went to a Macy's in a mall, on Causeway I think? and it wasn't trashy, ghetto, and the salespeople were actually very friendly and helpful

I had a similar eye-opening experience recently. My son dragged me to the mall to look in Hibbett to buy shoes with his bday money. We went and got his shoes after trying on a couple different things and the employee acting like we were bothering the shite out of him and his buddies chatting at the register...

After Hibbett, we stopped at Dillard's on the way out. He had some leftover cash and wanted some cologne and I found a pair of jeans and shoes that I liked. The service from the cologne counter girl and the guy that helped me with the shoes blew me away. I haven't been treated like that in a store in years and was impressed at how well they have been trained or whatever to go above and beyond by just being pleasant to the customer.

It was a nice change of pace from buying shite online or running in a Dick's or TJ Maxx or whatever box store to just get whatever I can find on my own.

I assumed all men would rather have a root canal with no anesthesia than shop with the wife

I guess this may hold true if you hate your wife. :dunno:

Running to the local mall with my wife to grab a new outfit isnt my favorite thing in the world...But sometimes it is the only time we have to spend with each other without kids around. Not to mention the fact that I get to pick out some clothes that I think she looks great in.

Complaining about having to spend time with the woman you love is gay as frick. The tractor will still be there when you get home.

My daughter is 2 and my wife and I decided not to force this and let her ask for it down the road.

We went this route. Daughter wanted, and got, her ears pierced at her 10th bday...

She is now 13, 14 in September, and is wanting her nose and "cartilage" (think top of your ear) and eyebrow pierced now. I guess I will be making her resent me for not letting her fill her face with metal for the next 4 years. :casty:

I think you'll find most current special operators to be in awe of the SOG troopers.

A seal or delta guy from the GWOT era that was a MOH recipient recounted his story on a podcast of meeting some of the macvsog guys at the MOH dinner. He said he listened to some of their stories and was embarrassed so much that he wouldn't even exchange his war stories with them. He felt his stories wouldn't be in the same universe as what he was hearing from those guys.

I have never read up on these guys as much as MACV-SOG, but they were supposedly incredible at what they did. The only thing I recall about them were they were strictly Army units. Macvsog was a multi-branch special operations group.

MACV-SOG, I have read up on their exploits and those guys were crazy. I cannot even fathom just the fear/anxiety they dealt with on their missions behind enemy lines. Stories of multiple knife kills on a single patrol. Seems like video game shite in real life. They were the original black ops dudes.
My grandmother used to breed Scotties when I was growing up. They are good little dogs. Very smart dogs... They have huge personalities and are really active and confident so they can lean toward being stubborn. Theyre better with older kids, so if you have a toddler or a new baby, I would wait a few years.

^^^This. Those little bastards have an incredible prey drive. Theyre like rat terriers with a long wiry coat. Love to dig up critters.

I think there was a problem with the dyes causing allergic reactions in some people.

That was the reason given to the public: "Health and environmental concerns" because of the dyes. Truthfully, the TP manufacturers deemed it too expensive to produce.

Lol yep. Give up 2 when we have the meat of the order coming up.

That inning probably ended any hopes of coming back for us.

They were definitely low, but they weren't crazy far out of the zone. Gotta pick the bat up. But gotta tip the cap to the pitcher getting out of that jam there. He made some good pitches after the mound visit.

This zone is criminal.

Probably balls, but man, he has to swing the bat there. Then Fralic watches the first one close and goes down in the count early.
