If someone’s health is negatively impacted, are they not entitled to pursue recourse?

If someone lost a ton of weight it was probably better for their health outcomes.
This is what is lost on most. Morbidly obese have multiple healthcare issues. shite ton of money and time is spent on keeping them alive and providing some semblance of quality of life. If a damn shot will get them to eat less, drop a ton of weight, and keep them out of the doctor's office, that benefit us all. I could not care less if some middle-aged woman takes it to lose 10 pounds and has complications.

Extra 100lbs and that doesn't eventually affect your knees, ankles, and hips? High blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes? Do you have any idea how much time people with those health problems spend at doctor appointments? Don't even get me started on the cost of the surgeries!

There aren’t really any studies showing the effects of long term systematic use, which is my entire point.

But just go for it and hope it works out instead of just not being a fatass. Great idea

GLP-1s have been out for a very, very long time. Just now that are being used for weight loss. If cancer was a major side affect, no legit doctor would prescribe.

My old doctor refused to treat my low-T because he thought the risk for prostate cancer was too much. I changed doctors, get my PSA checked, I have a much better quality of life and PSA levels have always been normal.

We are a nation of obese people. Our doctors are so overwhelmed with patients, that we are importing doctors from 3rd world countries. A large majority to the problems they are treating, can be traced back to the quantities of bad food they are putting in their mouth. If a shot can push that urge away, then put that shite in the drinking water! Hell, we just got poisonous food dyes removed from common household foods that are have been banned in Europe for a very long time!

Actually it's because we have a nation of obese people.
Obese people have a never ending plethora of health issues.
Also morons that smoke, drink too much, take drugs etc.

People that eat healthy, maintain a healthy weight, and exercise have very few health problems.
The health conscious people pay a fortune in premiums to pay for the never ending health issues of the obese.

IDK the exact numbers but 1/4 of all medical spending in the US is 'treating' Type 2 Diabetes. A disease which for the most part is avoidable. The good part is that T2D is reversable.

T2Ds is tied to so many other diseases. Alzheimer's is now being referred to Type 3 Diabetes.

We are paying big food and big pharm mega $$$ every day because of the crap food they stack to the ceiling the grocery stores with.

I have some hope in RFKJr that he can at least start getting our food supply back in line.

You just gave away your ignorance on this subject. mRNA vaccines have NEVER been approved. Not now, not one ever. The ones that all the fools took, were emergency status with the stipulation that the producers cannot be held accountable for extremely detrimental side affects, likes myocarditis.

Oxycontin? Again your logic is flawed. I guess if someone abuses a substances that is beneficial for a whole lot of people, we should just ban it? Well, there goes Adderall and Ritalin!

I work in healthcare and know a whole lot of doctors. Are there some shitty ones? Yep, just like there are shitty plumbers, house contractors, and truck drivers. In my experience, most truly follow the Hippocratic Oath. I personally don't know one doctor who would prescribe a drug that they thought the risk outweighed the positive outcome.

OxyContin was sold on being non-addictive
