Park at target in Metairie and Uber to the city.
Otherwise Caesar’s or one of the hotels in the area are your options.

They just moved back to the city so they are renting currently. They are only given 2 spots and there isn’t any street parking. Once they buy then I can but not for this trip.

Look at USA Parking or one of the other pay lots at the airport. You may get a cheaper rate at the Airlline Highway lots.
