I own a bread route and I am filling the truck as full as it can get seven days a week currently. And every day it is all gone. My wallet likes it but I am about over this crap.

I don’t think it’s a hoarder issue with those things. I just think there’s a lot more people at home making eggs and toast for breakfast and sandwiches for lunches and kids’ lunches.
BTW, I’ve been seeing bread nearly fully stocked at Walmart the last few days.

We’ve been crushing some bread because we’re all home every day. Not hoarding at all, just eating a lot.

Freezer bread is disgusting
When it thaws, it’s soft, fluffy, and tastes the same as it would before you put it in the freezer.
I wouldn’t recommend freezing it for months on end, but for a few weeks it’s fine.

There is so much irony going on with the shortages now it's pitiful.
When the initial surge of buying Clorox wipes and sanitizer began, I noticed that the only items remaining on the shelves were the ones that did not have harsh chemicals and were environmentally friendly. They simply aren't effective. Sellers could no longer give them away to all the "green buyers" out there who's demand for this junk helped create that ridiculous niche.
Same thing with the bread "shortage". It makes you wonder how many of the numerous supposedly "gluten intolerant" clowns (not talking people legitimately suffering with Celiac's disease) that have jumped on the gluten free bandwagon because it's cool, will have their freezers stuffed with frozen bread now?
