His great grandfather, Edward VII. Only got to the throne at age 59 because his momma decided to try to live forever.
Died at 69.
At least he died doing what he loved.

Good looking gal, but a real nice older model BSA Panther she's standing on.

The hen is obviously paying homage to the rooster.
" Let me understand: you got the hen, the chicken, and the rooster. The rooster goes with the chicken. So, who's having sex with the hen?"

Carol Channing wasn’t at the first Super Bowl, but she was among the first celebrity performers at Super Bowl IV played in Tulane Stadium in 1970. Al Hirt and Doc Sevrinson, who lead the Tonight Show Orchestra, also performed. And the Southern U band and a reenactment of the Battle of New Orleans, with cannons firing and an actor portraying Jackson on a white horse.
Pregame had 2 hot air balloons carrying a Viking and Chief out of the stadium. I recall that the weather was stormy early that day, and the Viking balloon was pushed into the crowd by the swirling wind. Eventually took off and out of the stadium.
This was the game that started the trend of halftime extravaganzas.
My Dad was an original Saints season ticket holder and I remember him taking a phone call from the Saints ticket office offering 4 seats to the SB. They were $15 each.
The Saints were so bad back then, but they had some creative halftime shows. Camel races, ostrich race pulling buggies manned by sportswriters, balloons and cannons. Finally, a cannon fired early as the ramrod pushed the charge down the barrel. The ramrod splintered but flew across the stadium sending a few fans to the hospital. The reenactor pushing the ramrod lost a couple fingers. That put an end to the extravaganzas.
