These inserts have been a life saver for me. I have them in every pair of shoes I own. $10 at the local Wal-Marks too.

Going barefoot around the house is also a no no. Get you a pair of “house shoes” specifically designed for PF. I have some slip one’s that have a bubble the size of an egg cut in half longways right under the arch of my foot. I wear them everyday when I’m home.

Just these two things has taken all the pain out of walking for me. It took a couple weeks to get used to everything but after that, it’s like I have two brand new feet again.

I just had my second cortisone shot yesterday and I could ballet dance this morning. I wear the night boot, stretch it and it clears up. Had this on other foot a few years ago. Wear good tennis shoes.

Only thing that might make it better in a couple of days is popping some Prednisone.

Had a flare up last year a couple of days before we were heading to Greece.

Cleared up before we left.

New Balance makes 2 inserts for Plantar Fasciitis that do well. Wear the boot at night, never go barefoot, and stretch throughout the day. It takes time, but will clear up.

You've also got to keep your calves stretched. A boot at night for this purpose and regular stretching can be very helpful.

I have the sock that pulls your foot back to stretch the tendons. Haven't had to wear it in years. I make sure I buy shoes that have a rubber sole and preferablty lots of cushion inside. Also, every night I get down on the floor like you do when doing a pushup, and rock backwards to stretch the tendons.

When I first got it, I could barely walk. Now it never bothers me.

I found the NB inserts very uncomfortable to the point of pain after running. I started using the Powersteps and have been pretty happy with them. I splurged on a nice pair of Brooks for my current running shoes and they're awesome.

Went an got a shot (hurt like hell) an within minutes I was able to walk out of Dr’s office with no pain whatsoever. Been pain free for months since then.
