Found my goal car recently. This is one I looked at and it is $280K slightly used.

You can call douche all you want but I am sure whoever drives this DGAF.

That’s a great looking car and I would proudly drive it. But $280k slightly used? Hell no.

I can think of plenty of cars for less than that I’d rather drive.

GT3 RS

The sticker on it is around $200k, but demand causes the increase in price.

Great car, but far too common for my taste.

A 911 here is a BMW 3-series in most areas.

You live in Texas, not Miami.

Two of my neighbors have them as track cars. They fly and handle great but they ride like a rock on Louisiana roads. If you live in Texas you can stretch them out.

...which has an enormous car scene, and I live in Highland Park to be exact.

I would love to have a Singer 911. I think I’d rather that over the GT3 RS.

Although I’d settle for a 70s Targa and a new Targa 4 instead of the singer or the GT3 RS. Simultaneously and at the same time.

Impressed, who cares...

My point of mentioning the area is because you clearly know nothing of the area and the car scene.

You’re right I know nothing about the car scene in the DFW area because I’ve never purchased a vehicle from there twice. Nor have I visited friends who live in Highland Park multiple times. Nor do I live in a more expensive area of the country.

I’m just a simpleton with no money or experience who makes wild accusations for fun. You caught me.

It’s a classic that’s the standard for high performance engineering.

Just because you’ve visited a place doesn’t mean your finger is in the pulse of their classic/exotic scene.

If you think it is great, what difference does it make how common they are?
