Ever case is different but to give you some hope my youngest was born 15 weeks early and weighed 1 lb 7 oz. that was close to 16 years ago and other than small size no long term effects. So hang in there. Praying for you.
Please take it from me, please please please do not judge how he is doing based on comparisons to others in NICU. I know from experience. There may be a couple steps forward and a step or two backwards

Dint know all of your facts but my nephew was born at 27 weeks in 2715. He weighed 1 Lb 12 oz. he's grate now have faith and, yes, pray bc that's never a bad idea.

Not a lot of news to report. They are reducing the Oxygen going into the lungs. There has been a slight increase in fluids in the lungs. The are cutting back on the sedatives. My son said that the arteries from the heart to the lungs are restricted. He said the doctors said using Tylenol late in the pregnancy can cause it but she didn't take any. But my son said that the doctors have not given him any assurances of his recovery at this point. Hopefully they are just being extra cautious.
