You must have a discount. Congrats.
As for CLA girls, yes they are a joke in BASKETBALL. Their softball team just made the playoffs as did their Volleyball. Does Dunham field a team in all 4 major girls' sports? Look it up.

And this is why you you don't go to TD for advice, after 12 years being in a position to experience students and parents from most of these schools, 75% of these response are FOS

No discount. It isn't even 20k. And you really aren't going to compare CLA girls athletics again? Actually, the only sport Dunham girls doesn't have is softball. Volleyball team is consistently in the state tourney. Girls basketball has been in the playoffs a bunch over the years. Girls tennis was state runners-up last year along with swimming. Just looked it up on LHSAA. You don't have your facts right. As far as Episcopal, it is around 17k.

He's right, it's not 30k. Lower elem is closer to 8-9k, upper elem 10-12k, HS 18k-ish. That's coming from their handbook.

Episcopal is the most expensive in BR, followed by Dunham, St. Joes, and then Catholic. U-High is around 5K, but good luck getting in.

If you are a parent who's already "wealthy", then you're playing almost 20 grand counting taxes per year...then, there's sports and the annual giving (which if you are cheap, then no...30 a year is not the cost). I speak with a parent of Episcopal once-twice a week and this is what he pays.
The whole Episcopal experience -- if your son or daughter plays sports -- and you're not a cheapy = 30 K a year.

Neither do you.

Why is that?
Dunham is Chapel Trafton. Always will be...with just a shite ton of more money.
By the way, you were the one wanting to get away from Girls' sports. Dunham football and basketball -- state champions in anything over the last 10 years? Many collegiate and pro athletes from Dunham, because CLA has a few.
Dunham has a jazz band and a potato bar and salad bar. Good for them.

Can't we just copy last time this question was asked. Isn't their a search feature. And I didn't go to private school. Public school trash checking in.

So since you know so much on this subject I'll just ask you. When has CLA ever won a football state championship? I think Dunham did it in the mid 2000's. Might want to look it up. And I have no clue why Dunham doesn't have a softball team. But you might want to look up the facts about those two schools in girls and boys athletics. Why are you so defensive about it?
Episcopal, even with the fees and stuff isn't close to 30k. Try again

Cypress Heights
It's the sleeper in this that few are talking about. Know three couples my age with kids my kids age and they love that school. No idea what tuition is but these couples could afford episcopal and live reasonably close. There's that.

I went there up until 7th grade, back when it was just two trailers on a lot, was actually a really good school back then. IDk how it's changed over the past10 or so years.

What about St Jude off Highland? Pros/ Cons??

Runnels and CLA are too small for my tastes. They also take all of the rejects and kids expelled from CHS/SJA/Episcopal
Any private school will take about anyone (with money) who was asked to leave a school. To say one is a landing spot is something that always puzzled me.

Catholic and SJA don't accept a lot of kids who put them as their first choice, they damn sure aren't going to accept a kid who was asked to leave another school.

Yep, I went there for 4 years and the only transfer student we had come in came from a public school and transferred completely for athletic reasons.
