The lot number range - is it just those first 7 digits? I got 2 more digits after that. Not seeing an explanation of the numbers on any of the articles.

Yes, just under the date code you will get a four-digit number then a three-digit number that is the lot number. There are digits after that but they aren't relevant here.

Last 3 digits of first 7 end in 425 it is recalled.

Me and my grand kids eat a lot of peanut butter. It is my nightly snack on celery.
I currently have three of the 40 ounce tubs and are all part of the recall. Peanut butter is also one of the few foods I am hoarding in case of hard times.

Checked my pantry and I had an almost empty 045 that I've been eating on for the past 3 weeks and an unopened one ending in 045. I have felt no ill side effects from the almost complete one but I think I'm gonna shite can it and the other one just in case. Went to the Smuckers website, nothing about refund, just throw it away. Like anyone can afford to be throwing money away right now.

I eat a decent amount of peanut butter when bulking, but I've been eating only meat and fruit for a couple of months now for the most part.

I have a few jars and they are the recalled lot. I said what the hell we will eat the rest. Already ate a jar of it.
