About 15 years ago I was living off of Essen and my ammo budget was ~$200/month. I can’t imagine it’s gone down.

Since when did all the latinos leave? You're getting raped.

3700 sq ft 2adults and 3 kids. 4 bathrooms and two ac’s for perspective. 255 levelized electric, 100 give or take for gas and sewage, 100 for water, 240 for lawn(we’re on nearly an acre), 100 for garbage but I have two cans. I do the pest control and landscaping. HOA is 50 I believe.

Incidentally, the house next door is for rent. $2350/mo for 2000 sqft okay house on a little lake. Seems low.

You think $50 a cut is a lot? Well at least we know you have a 0 lot line with no yard.

I’m in Livingston Parish outside Walker city limits, 1850 sq ft. house. I live by myself and work from home.
Water/Gas through City of Walker $50-70
Sewer through Magnolia Water $70
Garbage (Waste Management) $32
Electricity $125-$150, Demco. Will usually have 1 month that spikes. Thermostat kept at 70-72.
$240 lawn care, which includes weed-eating and edging a large lot.
I previously lived within Walker city limits and had Entergy; they were considerably higher for a 1450 sq ft house. .

Don’t do it.
The stupid cost of houses now plus the 7% interest rate would make buying a house a really unwise decision

Water, sewage, trash? Trying to lay out a projected budget with the new mortgage and want to cover all my bases.
If you have to ask you can't afford it.
